A session of parenting was held at VKV Dhemaji for the parents of Balvatika I, II and III.
The resource person for the session was 𝗜𝗻𝗱𝗿𝗮𝗷𝗶𝘁 𝗚𝗮𝗺, 𝗟𝗲𝗰𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲𝗿 𝗗𝗜𝗘𝗧 𝗰𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗴𝗲, 𝗗𝗵𝗲𝗺𝗮𝗷𝗶, 𝗦𝗺𝘁. 𝗥𝗮𝘀𝗵𝗺𝗶 𝗗𝗼𝗹𝗲𝘆, 𝗗𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗰𝘁 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘀𝘂𝗹𝘁𝗮𝗻𝘁,𝗙𝗟𝗡 𝗦𝗮𝗺𝗮𝗴𝗿𝗮 𝗦𝗵𝗶𝗸𝘀𝗵𝗮 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗦𝗺𝘁.𝗦𝗵𝗶𝗸𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗶 𝗛𝗮𝘇𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗸𝗮, 𝗟𝗲𝗰𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲𝗿 𝗡𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗵 𝗕𝗮𝗻𝗸 𝗰𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗴𝗲,𝗚𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗮𝗺𝗮𝗿𝗮.
They shared how Parenting encompasses the multifaceted role of nurturing, guiding, and supporting a child's development throughout their life. It was a learning experience for all of us. 80 parents were present in the session.
A Heartfelt Tribute to Our Brave Soldiers at VKV Dhemaji.
On 20th May 2025, Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya, Dhemaji organized a deeply meaningful program titled "Rashtra Pratham" to honour the brave Indian soldiers who dedicate their lives in service to our Motherland. The event was conceived as a tribute to the courageous spirit, discipline, and sacrifices of our armed forces—those who wear the uniform with unmatched pride and commitment.
The programme brought together local defense personnel who have served the nation in different capacities. Among the distinguished guests were Rtd. Sergeant Ajay Saikia (Indian Air Force), Rtd. Hav. Kabin Pegu (Indian Army), and Rtd. Hav. Nabin Phukan (Indian Army).
We were also blessed by the inspiring presence and address of Ma. Alka Gouri Didi, whose words added spiritual depth and national fervor to the occasion.
As part of the event, a quiz competition was organized for students from Class V to X, covering a wide array of topics including India’s advancements, achievements, heritage, diversity, and cultural richness. The interactive session turned into a joyful learning experience for the students, helping them connect with the greatness of our nation in an engaging manner.

I S R O organised a special programme for School Children called "Young Scientist Programme". YUva VIgyani KAryakram”, YUVIKA, to impart basic knowledge on Space Technology, Space Science and Space Applications to the younger students. Sudarshan Das present student of class X had an interaction session as well as experience sharing with all his school mates and students after returning from attending YUVIKA PROGRAM held at Banglore 2024.

The 77th Independence Day was celebrated in our Vidyalaya Campus at 7.30 am the tricolour was unfurled by Principal Monoj Sarma who delivered a speech about the importance of the day. THE 9TH INTERNATIONAL YOGA DAY 2023
The 9th International Day of Yoga was observed on 21st June 2023 with great enthusiasm.
Our Vidyalaya believes that educations does not mean were imparting of knowledge or facts but it encompasses an all round development of an individual. Our Vidyalaya has been taking all the initiatives to accomplish this.

RABHA DIVAS 2023
The programme started with the chanting of three Omkara followed by Mangalacharan by the students of class – V. The event was observed to commemorate the contributions of Kalaguru Bishnu Prasad Rabha in the field of social work, music, dance, painting, literature etc. and to create awareness amongst the young minds regarding the contribution towards the greater Assamese society.

On the occasion of World Environment Day, a programme was organized at Patanjali Sabhagriha wherein Smt. Labanya Lahon, Ex. Principal of Dhemaji Girl’s Higher Sec. School was our chief guest the programme started with the lighting of the lam by our principal Sri Monoj Sarma sir. It was followed by Mangalacharan by the sisters of class IX. The students were also engaged in making the display board on the topic “Environment” the display board were also inspected by Smt. Labanya Lahon. Our chief guest. She encouraged and appreciated the hard work of the students.

The Mobile Book Fair 2022
